What Does Each Age Group Do on Sunday Mornings?
  • Infants spend the morning being rocked or played with by our caring and dedicated Nursery leaders.
  • Toddlers–Kindergarten meet in our Children’s Wing in classrooms according to their age. In their rooms, kids will sing songs together, learn a Bible Story, participate in reinforcing activities, and have playtime to foster community and relationships between leaders and kids.
  • 1st-4th Grade begin each morning in the FLC, right across from the Bethel Kids Check-in area. We will have a time of large group worship and  teaching and then break into classrooms (by grade) to dive deeper into the lesson through activities, scripture memorization, and classroom discussion.
  • 5th Graders will meet in their own classroom, hang out, dig into scripture, and participate in small group discussions

Please plan to arrive at the Family Check-In area 10 to 15 minutes before the service starts. We look forward to getting to know you and your children, and we’ll help you find the right classroom.

After your registration is complete, you and your child will be given matching security tags that are unique to your family and your visit.

If your child needs you during the service, we’ll contact you by sending you a text. Please have your phone on vibrate and be aware of your messages during service.

Parent / Child Dedication

What is Parent/Child Dedication?

Parent/Child Dedication is a commitment to raise your child in a Gospel-centered home while taking the lead role in your child’s discipleship. This dedication is not a statement of salvation for your child, but rather a statement of how you will raise your child.

While not a command of Scripture, parent/child dedication can be a beautiful symbol. It should be done with a community of believers who know you personally and can commit to walking with you in this commitment. This is why we, at Bethel participate with you. As you acknowledge your responsibility to raise your child(ren) in a Gospel-centered home taking an active role in your child’s discipleship, we as your church family, are making a similar commitment to you, the parent(s), to come alongside you and help you in this discipleship journey.

I want to Dedicate my child(ren).

Great! We are excited that you wish to dedicate your child to the Lord! We look forward to walking alongside you in your parenting journey! You’ll need to attend our 30-minute Parent/Child Dedication class, which is offered the Sunday before dedication dates. It’s a great way to get to know our staff, learn about dedication, and prepare for the ceremony. Your child(ren) are welcome to attend the class with you.

Children must be registered BEFORE attending the Child dedication class. This helps us know how many families to expect in the class.

2024 Dates:
  • Sunday, March 9 – Parent/Child Dedication Class is Sunday, March 2 at 10:15 am in Room 112.

If you have any questions or simply want to talk more about Parent/Child Dedication please contact our Bethel Kids Office at 701.232.4476 or kids@bethelfc.com You can also click below to download more information.

Sunday Morning D-Groups

Children’s D-Groups Starting Sep 15

At Bethel Kindred, we want to be intentional about discipleship – this includes discipling our kids! Every Sunday morning from 9-10 am @ Kindred HS, elementary aged kids are invited to join a discipleship group or D-GROUP!

D-Groups are led by caring adults who help our young learners know that God loves them and they have a place in Jesus’ work.

Put simply, D-Groups are a fun interactive time where kids will grow deeper in their walks with Jesus! Please contact Sarah Stanley at 701.367.9248 for more info.
