How Does God Change Us?

“Growing in Christ is not centrally improving or adding or experiencing but deepening. Implicit in the notion of deepening is that you already have what you need. Christian growth is bringing what you do and say and even feel into line with what, in fact, you already are.” Men, I want to invite you to join me in a summer book club, as we read How Does God Change Us? by Dane Ortlund and learn what it means to grow deeper. We will meet three times this summer, beginning on June 5. When you respond, indicate whether you would prefer either the lunch-hour group or the 7 pm evening group. Men, it’s time for our annual summer get-together! Monday, July 15, is our Annual Men’s BBQ, 6 pm at the big shelter in Gooseberry Park in Moorhead. Join us for food, fellowship, games, and a fun night. It’s a great opportunity to gather together as men to be with one another in the middle of the summer. The event is free, just bring yourself, and bring someone with you. We hope you can come!
