Through learning, interaction and discussion, (and breakfast at the Friday morning group!) men will find a great environment to get to know others as together we grow in following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and being committed to the mission of Jesus. The Death of Porn: Men of Integrity Building a World of Nobility
How do we fight against sexual sin as Christians? “Victory can be had, but only in the loving community of the local church with saints covenanted together to stand against the wiles of the enemy in the truth of Jesus’s gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.” In this six-week study we will read six letters written by Ray Ortlund in his book, The Death of Porn, in which he counsels us together as a fellow traveler in the fight. We will encourage one another to be the men God calls us to be. The Death of Porn book is available in the church office for $10. Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM (February 5-March 12) or Friday mornings at 6:30 AM (February 7-March 14) for this six-week study.
The Life of Peter
“God uses flawed people to accomplish His purpose.” (Derek Thomas) In this teaching series, we will consider the story of Peter from his first encounter with the Lord to Jesus’ resurrection. Understanding Peter’s transformation from the brash fisherman into restored Apostle can guide us in pursuit of our own growth in grace as men, as we look at Peter’s relationship with Jesus before and after the resurrection.
