Encore Senior Adult Fellowship Joins the Church Family Minnesota Twins Game Day Trip
Encore has teamed up with Men’s Ministry as they host the Church Family Minnesota Twins game day trip on July 24. For $50 you get a comfortable ride down to Target Center and a ticket to get in the game. On the way home, we will stop in an area with several fast food options. Our next Encore trip to Medora will be jam-packed with all the highlights Medora has to offer! We load the bus Monday morning, August 12 at 11 am. We will make a few “stretch-our-legs” stops and view a few sights on the way. We plan to arrive at 6 pm for a garlic-roasted chicken with glazed carrots and wild rice meal followed by a variety of desserts at the Rough Rider Conference Room. Depending on arrival, we will either check in before or after dinner at the Elkhorn Quarters. Tuesday morning, August 13, we will start our day with Teddy & Edith Roosevelt for brunch. Afterwards we are on our own to enjoy downtown Medora. We will regroup for dinner at the Pitchfork Steak Fondue at 6 pm followed by a behind-the-scenes tour at 7 pm. Medora Musical starts at 7:30 pm. On Wednesday, August 14, we will start the day with a Gospel Brunch and then take a drive through the Scenic Park before we head back to Fargo. We will make pitstops on the return home.

We have family rooms reserved, which have 2 queen beds. When signing up, note your rooming partner, or one will be picked for you. This event will cost $700 per person. Other out-of-pocket costs would be for Tuesday afternoon’s free time and for Wednesday’s lunch on the journey back. Otherwise, all your expenses are included. Trips are not refundable if you cancel within the week prior to the event.
