Former Fargo Police Officer, now non-profit leader, Michael Bloom, shares with Pastor Jonas about where he sees God at work!
Michael followed his family from California to Fargo, ND for college. Following his time at university, Michael joined the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, then Fargo Police Department. As one of Fargo’s first community trust officers, God used Michael to bring lots of smiles and restorative relationships in Fargo.
Fargo feels really small when you think of all the people working together to do good in our community.
Michael does a great job explaining the wrap-around services for adults who are incarcerated and those leaving jail. If you are interested in jail ministry, listen in to hear Michael’s hearts for our neighbors. The local community has great non-profits serving those on the inside of the jail or prison and those leaving the jail.
Michael is quick to partner with like-minded people. From Skill Cutz to local sheriff’s departments, YFC, YoungLife, etc. Michael is being used by God to bring hope.
Recently, Michael felt led by God to begin a non-profit called Hip Hop and Hope. He also leads Accelerate, a local non-profit serving young adults aging out of the foster system.
